Every year, I try to shop for holiday gifts from as many local NYC businesses as possible and each time I have this Hallmark movie idea that I’ll be able to get all my shopping done in one entirely romantic festive day. There’s probably a treat involved, absolutely no stress and I do it all while wearing a festively chic outfit that doesn't over stimulate me half way through the day. This has never existed. So, if you’re in the city doing holiday shopping and see a chaotic crazy girl with bangs running around in sweats from uptown to downtown to Brooklyn and back it’s probably me.

But this year will be different and how do I know this? Holiday shopping strategy. I put together a map of my tried and true, greatest hits of holiday shopping spots in NYC as well as a few extras I’m looking forward to visiting this month. Of course, I also included some of my favorite spots for grabbing a coffee along the way as well as some Treehouse tested and approved sweet treat shops-because when in doubt, gifting a gilded pistachio green box of Ladurée macarons never fails.
